PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve boiling-over performance and to improve a taste by preventing steam and sticky juice of boiled rice from flowing out also from a gap between the outer periphery of an inner lid and a pot as the result of lifting the inner lid upward by steam pressure during rice cooking in a rice cooker provided with the inner lid at a lid covering the top of a rice cooker main body in an openable and closable manner. SOLUTION: The pot 2 having a flange part 2a at its upper edge is housed inside of the rice cooker main body 1, and the lid 3 is pivotally supported by a hinge part 4 in rear of the rice cooker main body 1 in a rotatable manner to cover the top of the rice cooker main body 1 in the openable and closable manner. The lid 3 has a pot packing 14 for sealing a steam mouth 8, the flange part 2a of the pot 2 and the lid 3 being the path of steam, and the nearly-disk- like inner lid 13 is inserted and held by the packing 14 and the pot 2 when the lid is closed.
