Broadband tunable dispersion compensator

摘要

A long variable pitch Bragg grating is written in an optical fiber (10) in which wavelength division multiplexed transmission channels propagate. A pair of heating systems (20) are distributed over the grating and are controlled independently to compensate simultaneously the chromatic dispersion on several transmission channels.
