PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically separating sleeve from bad strip coil is provided to reuse the sleeve by automatically separating a sleeve inserted into a pay off reel from the tail part of the bad strip coil, and safely treat a scrap part of the bad strip coil from which the sleeve is separated. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for automatically separating sleeve from bad strip coil comprises a base(10); a strip segment part(20) comprising segment means(22) a plurality of which are installed on the base(10) so that the plurality of segment means(22) are moved back and forth by a driving means, wherein the segment means(22) comprise inserting parts(24) so that the segment means(22) are engaged with the inserting parts(24) during operation of the driving means, and a plurality of strip absorption means for uncoiling and recoiling coil (C) are installed at the inner side of the segment means(22); and a sleeve clamping and moving part(40) comprising a moving block(44) which is vertically movably and rotationally installed at the lower side of a moving plate(42) that is back and forth movably installed along rails installed on the base(10), and a sleeve clamping means(46) which is installed at the lower side of the moving block(44) and inserted into thus fixed to sleeve (S) to clamp the sleeve (S) so that the sleeve clamping and moving part(40) clamping moves the sleeve (S') separated, wherein the apparatus further comprises a scrap treatment part comprising a rotational plate that is installed at the lower side of the strip segment part(20) in such a way that the rotational plate is folded onto the base(10), and a scrap box that is arranged at the lower side of the rotational plate so that the scrap box is moved along the rails.
