PURPOSE: Provided are filter media having high dust collecting efficiency and capable of increasing non-adherence, thermal endurance, and chemical resistance, and a method for fabricating the same, wherein the filter media comprises a base substrate and a coating layer containing a coating material such as ceramic, silicon and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a hardener. CONSTITUTION: The filter media fabrication method comprises the steps of preparing a molding base substrate(100) having a weight of 250-600 g/m¬2, a thickness of 0.3-30 mm and a permeability of 5-40 cc/cm¬2/sec; coating the molding base substrate with a coating compound(102) which contains a coating material such as ceramic, silicon and PTFE and a hardener; and drying the coated molding base substrate at an initial temperature of 100-120°C and a final temperature of 150-200°C, wherein the filter media has thermal endurance no less than 150°C.
