PURPOSE: A caisson and L-shaped lathe type combination quay is provided to construct berthing facilities firmly and safely by protecting harbor facilities from earth pressure. CONSTITUTION: The caisson and L-shaped lathe type combination quay(20) contains front, rear, right and left sidewalls(22,23,24,25) installed on the top of a lower end(21), a space(28) formed to keep the interval between the front wall(22) and the rear wall(23), the right wall(24) and the left wall(25) regularly, buttress(29) installed on the right and left sides of the rear wall(23) to let one side of the buttress(29) interpose in the front side of the rear wall(23) and the lower end(21), and vertical partition walls installed in the buttress(29).
