PURPOSE: A system and a method for a contents service using an image and a recording medium storing a program source are provided to output the lowest particular for a lower particular of the contents included in a web page as the image before the connection. CONSTITUTION: A contents providing server(110) comprises a user interface module(111), an image searching/outputting module(112) and an image registration module(113). The user interface module(111) enables a user to control a moving state of the image outputted through a preview window. The image searching/outputting module(112) outputs the lowest particulars included in the lower particular through a screen in case that the user clicks the lower particular on a web page arranging the contents registered to a database server(120), and outputs the lowest image as the image in case that the user click the lowest particular. The image registration module(113) supports the user to register the text information explaining the contents and the image of the contents in order to provide the contents to other user.
