PURPOSE: An apparatus for connecting key grooves of rolling roll to chock keys is provided to check the center of the roll by recognizing diameter of the rolling roll having a different diameter and smoothly assemble the rolling roll into chocks by corresponding direction of the key grooves of the roll with position of the chock keys. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for connecting key grooves of rolling roll to chock keys comprises a measuring part comprising a lower part height measuring means for measuring distance between the surface of the lower part and a datum point of the lower part of the rolling roll(10) for assembling chocks, and an upper part height measuring means for measuring distance between the surface of the upper part and a datum point of the upper part of the rolling roll; a sensing part for sensing position of key grooves(5) of the rolling roll and remembering position of chock keys to be assembled; and an adjusting part for adjusting height of the rolling roll from the datum point of the lower part according to diameter of the rolling roll measured in the measuring part and corresponding the chock keys with position of the key grooves of the rolling roll by rotating the rolling roll according to position of the chock keys remembered by the sensing part, wherein the sensing part comprises a moving frame(200), a connection member(310) and a rotational plate(313), and the adjusting part comprises a lower resting stand(403), an upper resting stand(402), a distance adjusting means comprising a horizontal shaft worm gear(410), a vertical shaft worm gear(420) and a motor, and a pair of rotational rolls(400), and the lower part height measuring means comprises an upper plate, a rack gear, a motor, and a pinion.
