摘要 PURPOSE: Provided are a catalyst for polymerizing olefin, which is a non-homogeneous catalyst not using methyl aluminoxane(MAO) or a boron compound as a co-catalyst and activated by an inorganic support, and the polymerization using the catalyst. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst for polymerizing the olefin is produced by reacting a titanium halide compound with a salicylaldimine chelate ligand-contained magnesium-aluminum compound produced by reacting a salicylaldimine compound with Mg£Al(OR')3R|2, wherein R' is more than C6 alkyl and R is more than C2 alkyl. The salicylaldimine chelate ligand is represented by the formula 1 or 2, wherein R1-R3 are identically or differently hydrogen atom, halogen atom, hydrocarbon, heterocyclic compound functional group, oxygen-contained group, nitrogen-contained group, and etc., wherein more than two of them are bonded to form a ring, G is C1-C50 alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, and hetero atom-contained group. And the olefin polymer is produced by using a catalyst system comprising the catalyst for polymerizing the olefin and a co-catalyst in gas phase or slurry.
