PURPOSE: A game device using the Internet and the wireless communication and a controlling method thereof are provided to prevent the illegal copy of the game device, to upgrade a game through the Internet, and to download and execute other game. CONSTITUTION: A game device main body(130) has the second transceiver(120), converts a certification code into an optical signal and displays it on a certification window in a screen, performs a certification function from the certification code received from the second transceiver(120), executes the game and transmits the game executing data to the second transceiver(120). The third transceiver(140) inputs the certification code and the game executing data from the second transceiver(120) to a computer or a TV by connecting to an external signal input terminal of the computer or the TV. The first transceiver(110) detects the certification code outputted to the certification window and transmits it to the second transceiver(120).
