PURPOSE: A method of determining alarm signal priority of a communication equipment is provided to record priority of upper troubles and lower troubles in trouble information, thereby easily adding, deleting, and modifying the troubles. CONSTITUTION: All troubles generated in a communication equipment are checked(S100). Upper troubles are inputted to configuration frames for all the checked troubles(S200). A down frame and the first frame are made for each of the configuration frames(S300). An alarm is noticed by using the down frame and the first frame, and a lower alarm is cancelled, then the process is repeated when a next trouble is generated(S400). If the process continues, the process returns to the step of checking all the troubles, and if not, the process completes(S500).
