PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for a water purifier capable of preventing internal granular filtering medium from being scattered outside even when its outer case is broken. SOLUTION: This cartridge for a water purifier is constituted by filling a filtering unit in a body case 1 with at least the filtering medium 13 and blockading the opening end of the body case 1 with a cover body 2. The pressure resistant strength of the cover body 2 or the adhesive strength to the body case 1 is made to be smaller than the pressure resistant strength of the body case 1.
