PURPOSE: A preparation method of calcium products with excellent cold water solubility and dispersity and storage stability is provided for use as food additives by forming fine CaCO3 particles and coating the surface of particles. The resultant calcium products are also applied to health food, cosmetics and pharmaceutics. CONSTITUTION: The calcium products are prepared by the following steps: (i) preparing a Ca(OH)2 solution by calcining Ca-contained materials(limestone, marble, shell, etc.) and coal at 800-1200deg.C for 2-20hrs, and adding water; (ii) flowing CO2 gas into the Ca(OH)2 solution for a CaCO3 suspension; (iii) controlling the size of CaCO3 particles in the suspension to be 0.0001-5.0micrometer by regulating concentration, temperature and inflow amount of the Ca(OH)2 solution; (iv) coating CaCO3 particles with a coating agent to prevent increase of particle size due to static electricity between CaCO3 particles; (v) removing impurities from the CaCO3 suspension; (vi) concentrating to be 1-60wt.% of CaCO3 particles by hot blast, vacuum and spray drying; (vii) powering. The coating agent comprises 1-90 pts.wt.(based on 100pts.wt. of CaCO3) of arabia gum, 1-90pts.wt. of dextrin or cyclodextrin, and hydrophilic emulsifiers such as saccharose fatty acid ester, casein, glycerine fatty acid ester, carboxymethyl cellulose, etc. |
