PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a panorama image corrected in error by a vertical movement caused according to the movement of a probe, and process and display the panerama image so as to be easily diagnosable by a doctor. SOLUTION: After correcting a vertical slippage width ΔY by use of two ultrasonic images at times t and t+1 having a time difference, moving quantity ΔX and rotating quantity Δθ in the moving direction are detected to composite an ultrasonic image, thereby, a precise panorama image having no error by vertical fluctuating component is formed. An original image is displayed/non- displayed on the formed panorama image, the whole panorama image is rotationally displayed, or an annotation character or the like is displayed/non- displayed. |
