PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally insulating container for drinks which is more effective even in a handy type pot and a stand type pot by improving thermally insulating closing means for the mouth of the thermally insulating container for drinks. SOLUTION: The thermally insulating container for drinks constituted by closing the mouth 2 in the upper part of a pot body 1 by a vacuum hollow plug 3, in which the vacuum hollow plug 3 consists of an internal metallic spherical body 7 formed by aligning the centers of a bowl-like hemispherical body 7a and an inverted bowl-like hemispherical body 7b and superposing these bodies and an external coating layer 8 made of a synthetic resin or synthetic rubber on the outer periphery of the metallic spherical body 7. A small spherical body 4 is disposed in the vacuum hollow of the internal metallic spherical body so as to move freely and the method of manufacturing the same. |
