PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely stretchable absorbent article. SOLUTION: The stretchable article 20 is provided with a longitudinal center line L, two edges, a liquid pervious surface 20A, a liquid impervious surface, an absorbent constituent arranged between the surface 20A and the liquid impervious surface, and a hook for attaching the article 20 on an underwear. The hook has two edges. The article 20 has an original dimension measured when a stretching force of 50 g is applied to the article 20. The portion for housing the absorbent constituent in the article 20 stretches to a dimension not less than 120% and not greater than 150% of the original dimension when the article 20 is torn off from a cotton fabric. |
