PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting a position of an assembling part, by which the assembling part having an engagement portion for engaging with a mating engagement portion at a conjugate assembly place can be surely assembled. SOLUTION: The method for adjusting a position of the assembling part having the engagement portion for engaging with the mating engagement portion of the conjugate assembly place comprises the steps of: photographing the engagement portion of the assembling part by a CCD camera 7, determining an amount of a positional adjustment, which is necessary for engaging the engaging part with the mating engagement portion, by means of a personal computer 8 based on the photographed image, and adjusting the position of the assembling part by means of a first assembly robot 31 based on the amount of the positional adjustment.
