APPARATUS FOR INTERCEPTING POWER SUPPLY TO SPROCKET IN CHAIN FLIGHT TYPE SLUDGE/SCUM COLLECTOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for intercepting power supply to sprocket in chain flight type sludge/scum collector is provided to detect whether chain that transmits driving power to sprocket is cut or not in early stages, thus it is possible to prevent additional breakage or damage to driving train. CONSTITUTION: Several protrusions(210) are formed around a rotation shaft(1') of a sprocket(1) in regular intervals. A sensor(220) includes a sensor body(222) and a sensor bar(221). The sensor bar comes into contact with the protrusions as the sprocket rotates, thereby the sensor detects whether the sprocket is rotated or not. The sensor body is movably assembled within a vertical range with a support mount(223) on a flight(224).
