PURPOSE: A device for self-sealing a feeder cone of charging car is provided to prevent gas leakage to the outside and inflow of external air into the feeder cone through a gap between the charging hole and the feeder cone when charging coal into the coke oven by inserting the feeder cone into charging hole of coke oven. CONSTITUTION: In a facility for dry distilling coal by corresponding charging hole(111) of coke oven chamber with a feeder cone(122) of charging car so that coal in the charging car is charged into the coke oven chamber, the device for self-sealing the feeder cone of the charging car comprises a sealing plate(10) which is removably installed on the lower outer circumferential surface of the feeder cone(122), and on the lower surface of which inner and outer vertical walls(11,12) are integrally formed; a pressing part which is arranged on the lower outer circumferential surface of the feeder cone(122), the pressing part presses downward the outer vertical wall(12) the lower end(12a) of which is contacted with the upper surface of a frame(115) during coal charging so that the outer vertical wall(12) is closely adhered onto the frame(115); and a sealing part which is installed between the inner and outer vertical walls(11,12) to block transfer of high heat to the outside so that the device for self-sealing the feeder cone of the charging car cuts off outflow of internal gas and inflow of external air. |
