PURPOSE: A method for identifying cooler operation of an infrared camera is provided to accurately grasp the change of the cooler for cooling a detector used for the infrared camera and the filling of refrigerant gas. CONSTITUTION: A method for identifying cooler operation of an infrared camera includes the steps of sensing leakage of refrigerant gas of the cooler by using a gas sensor part(21) while the infrared camera is working, amplifying the refrigerant gas sensed by the gas sensor part at a signal processor part(23) and outputting only the signals over a regular reference after comparison, converting the signal output from the signal processor part at a converter part(24), and applying the converted signal to a cooler status identifying circuit part(27). |
