ULTRASONIC OPERATING INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic operating instrument having simple constitution and provided with a casing having a small outer diameter. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic operating instrument has the casing 10 and an ultrasonic vibration generation source (ultrasonic vibrator) 30 housed in the casing 10 to generate ultrasonic vibration. The ultrasonic vibration generation source 30 is supported on the casing 10 only by ring-shaped support members 40 and 41 positioned on the leading end and rear end sides of the ultrasonic vibration generation source 30. In order to prevent the rotation of the ultrasonic vibration generation source 30 with respect to the casing 10, a first locking surface 35 is provided to the ultrasonic vibration generation source 30 and the second locking surface 14 locked with the first locking surface 35 is provided to the casing 10.
