PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding strip passing through circle type knife is provided to prevent cutting defects of edge scrap by adding a means for varying roll force according to thickness of the strip when cutting the edge part of the strip using the circle type knife, thereby minimizing wrinkle of the strip due to the circle type knife. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for guiding strip passing through circle type knife comprises fixing frame(20) and support frame(30) that are connected to both surfaces of a knife body; a first fixing plate(130) that is rotationally installed at the end part of the fixing frame(20); a second fixing plate(140) which is fixed to the end part of the support frame(30), has the same shape and size as the first fixing plate(130) and is oppositely directed to the first fixing plate(130) with the second fixing plate(140) being spaced apart from the first fixing plate(130); a connection box(200) which connects a separated space between the first and second fixing plates(130,140) and is fixed onto the upper surface of each end part of the upper surface of the first and second fixing plates(130,140); a pressing roll(220) which is connected to an operation cylinder(210) installed inside the connection box(200) so that the pressing roll(220) is ascended and descended; and a pressing plate(300) comprising a hollow part(310) into which the pressing roll(220) is penetrated, wherein the pressing plate(300) is fixed to the lower surface of the first and second fixing plates(130,140) in such a way that the pressing plate(300) is ascended and descended.
