摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece driving mechanism of a continuous generation type gear grinding apparatus, which can reduce a noise caused by vibration of a motor and/or engagement of gears for driving a workpiece spindle, which serve as disturbing elements, down to an insensible level without carrying out after-treatment for a workpiece in a vehicle. SOLUTION: The noise from the ground gears assembled in a transmission can be prevented by adopting a non-integer speed ratio between a workpiece spindle (3) and a driving motor (4) in a gear train of a workpiece driving mechanism in a continuous generation type gear grinding machine for transmission gears, a large number of teeth of a gear (6) on the workpiece spindle (3), a transverse contact ratio and an overlapping contact ratio of a large integer in the gear train, and a damping ring (7) arranged on the workpiece spindle (3).
