PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation membrane having excellent workability and mechanical strength, particularly tension strength, and excellent in gas separation performance, and permeation property in oxygen/nitrogen separation. SOLUTION: This separation membrane is composed of a condensation polymer (c) consisting of repeating units (a) and (b), where (a) is a unit obtained by the polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid, a tetracarboxylic acid or each of their derivatives with a diamine, a triamine or a hydrazide, or the membrane is composed of only the unit (a) and (b) is a unit obtained by the polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid, a tetracarboxylic acid or each of their derivatives with a diamine or a dihydrazide, or the membrane is composed of only the unit (b). The separation membrane has the molar ratio, of the unit (a) to the unit (b) of (99:1) to (70:30), the oxygen/nitrogen separation coefficient of >=7 and 35-100 MPa tension strength.
