PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound coating material with which the proliferation and differentiation of cells are effected with good controllability and eventually healing is sufficiently promoted in healing of a wound. SOLUTION: The wound coating material consisting of a polypeptide (A) having at least one minimum amino acid sequence indicating a cell adhesion signal in one molecule and a base material (B) is used.
