PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irrigation maintenance system which can convert a cultivated land from a paddy field to an upland field or adversely from the upland field to the paddy field and always automatically supply water to the upland field, when the cultivated field is used as the upland field. SOLUTION: This irrigation maintenance system of the cultivated field is characterized by obliquely disposing an irrigation maintenance line 2 along the cultivated land A, disposing a water level adjuster 3 for setting the level of supplied water in the midway of the irrigation maintenance line 2, disposing an upstream side shutter valve 9 and a downstream side shutter valve 10 in a branched state in the irrigation maintenance line 2 for the water level adjuster 3, connecting the shutter valves 9 and 10 to each other through a connection pipe 13, and connecting the shutter valves to an underdrainage pipe 12 buried in the cultivated land A.
