PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone type vacuum cleaner capable of easily removing dusts, and improving usability, and preventing the deterioration of a sucking force. SOLUTION: This cyclone type vacuum cleaner in which air to be sucked by a dust collecting chamber 3 is revolved in a dust collecting chamber 3 so that dusts can be separated is provided with a cylindrical part 9 arranged in the dust collecting chamber 3 for exhausting air in the dust collecting chamber 3 to an electric blower housing chamber 5, a filter 13 arranged in an opening 12 formed at the cylindrical part 9, and a caster 14 arranged so as to be freely rotatable at the lower part of the dust collecting chamber 3 of the cleaner body 1. A brush body 17 to be interlocked to a rotary shaft 15 of the caster 14, and to be brought into slide contract of the outer peripheral part of the filter 13 of the cylindrical part 9 according to the rotation of the caster 14 is arranged at the outer peripheral part of the filter 13.
