PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sock for boot which keeps toes warm even in winter, is easy to be mounted on the boots, and can be used conveniently. SOLUTION: A tread sole to be mounted on a boot innersole is provided in the forward end with a toe cover for thermal insulation wherein toes of a foot are inserted, and an elastic bone strong in resilience is inserted along the open foot inlet edge of the toe cover. Therefore, the toes which tend to be most cooled can be protected comfortably and healthily in winter since the toes are insulated by the toe cover, mounting of the tread sole is easier than a mere sock since a forward end shoving-in operation becomes practicable by putting fingers into the toe cover, and an opened condition of the toe cover while touching tightly the inner surface of a boot toe box can always be maintained, whereby the foot can securely be put into the boot and the convenient wearing can be realized.
