PURPOSE: A culture soil composition for rice cultivation, a culture soil met using the same, and a preparation process thereof are provided. The prepared culture soil met has improved water-adsorption and evenness, and has no ink components, to allow rice sprouts to rapidly take root on the culture soil met and to inhibit rice sprouts from floating. CONSTITUTION: The culture soil composition for rice cultivation comprises (i) 60 to 90 parts by weight of an organic matter selected peat moss, coconut peat and a mixture thereof; (ii) 10 to 40 parts by weight of cellulose obtained from corrugated cardboard, graft paper or news paper waste; and (iii) 0.1 to 0.5 parts by weight of a surfactant, wherein 3 to 5 parts by weight of a natural antimicrobial agent may be further added, pH of the culture soil composition is 5 to 5.5, the weight ratio of the organic matter to cellulose is 80:20 to 70:30, the surfactant is a nonionic surfactant, and the natural antimicrobial agent is Neem cake containing azadirachtin or leaves or fruits of Ficus cariaca. |
