PURPOSE: A microwave oven having a device for detecting the life of parts is provided to detect the life of parts in the microwave oven, remotely. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven having a device for detecting the life of parts is composed of a power supply unit(80), a key control unit(10), a high-frequency oscillation unit(60), a door opening/closing a cooking chamber, a door switch(90) detecting the opening/closing of the door, a part-life detecting unit(20), a microcomputer(30), a memory(40), and a display unit(70). The part-life detecting unit includes a high-frequency oscillation detecting unit for detecting the operating time of high-frequency oscillation parts in the high-frequency oscillation unit and a door opening/closing detecting unit.
