PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed food produced from wheat flour, etc., having good palatability such as moderate softness, high springiness and glutinousness, good appearance such as beautiful scorch pattern on the surface of the dough and high preservability in frozen state. SOLUTION: The processed food is produced by compounding 100 g of wheat flour with a component corresponding to 1-200 g (preferably 10-150 g) of deep ocean water selected from deep ocean water, concentrated deep ocean water, salt of deep ocean water, desalted deep ocean water and their combination. In the case of producing dough for the shell of jiaozi, shaomai or steamed bread, a component corresponding to 10-55 g (preferably 20-40 g) of deep ocean water is added to the flour. |
