PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film obtained by forming a coating layer on a transparent resin film and having high flatness, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The optical film is manufactured by applying a coating solution to a continuously fed resin film and drying the coating film while winding the same around a rotary support having a diameter larger than the width of the resin film.
