Described herein is a system for conveying flexible packages for the transfer thereof in the various workstations of a packaging line, in particular a continuously operating one, in which there are provided substantially rigid containers (1) designed for housing said flexible packages (3), said containers (1) being arranged free, i.e., without any constraints with the conveyor, so that the containers (1) advance set alongside one another with a distance between centres determined by the sizes of the containers and not imposed by the structure of the conveyor itself. <IMAGE>
