PURPOSE: An electronic settlement method using a cellular phone is provided to perform a settlement service through the cellular phone for efficiently progressing business activities of a company. CONSTITUTION: If an inquiry request is generated in an application mode(S102) and a settlement menu is selected(S104), card information of a client transmitted from a card reader through a card reader connection module is received(S106). The input of an amount of money and an installment selection is requested(S108,S110,S112), and settlement information about the input is generated(S114,S116). If a wireless Internet is connected(S118), settlement information is encrypted and compressed using a private key(S120) and compressed settlement information is transmitted to a mobile communication company server(S122). Settlement result data transmitted from the mobile communication company server is received(S124,S126). The received settlement result data are analyzed and it is checked whether an approval is received(S128). If the approval is rejected, an approval rejection list is displayed(S130). If the approval is received, a slip is printed through a printer(S132). |
