The stator (8) is arranged to freely rotate and move around an axis (X1) on which it is centered. The stator is supported on pressure straps (10), fixed on a support (2), so as to transform vibrating movements from points of contact between stator (8) and rotor (20) into an elliptical movement in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction essentially tangential to a displacement plane (Pdm). Piezo electric motor of the type having: (a) a stator (2); a rotor (20) rotating in a plane (Pdm), called mean displacement plane, normal to the rotation axis (X1) of the rotor on which is centered a rotor drive coupling disk (8), fitted between stator and rotor; piezo electric parts (12) designed to be electrically excited so as to cause a vibrating movement on the coupling disk; a transmission system (40) designed to transmit the vibrating movement from the disk to the rotor so as to rotate it around the axis (X1), and; means (44) to press the rotor against the coupling disk. |
