PURPOSE: A device for reducing the noise of an Exhaust Gas Recirculation(EGR) valve for a diesel engine is provided to reduce the operation noise of the EGR valve having variable opening/closing speed according to the drive condition of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An EGR valve controls the introduction amount of combustion gas introduced into an intake manifold(12) according to the drive condition of the engine(10). A modulator(17) is formed at a vacuum hose(15) connecting the EGR valve to a vacuum pump(16), and controls the transfer of a vacuum pressure. A surge tank(30) is formed at the vacuum hose, and absorbs the operation noise of the EGR valve.
