COMPOSITION COMPRISING GANODERMA SINENSE WATER-SOLUBLE EXTRACT HAVING ANTI-OXIDATION AND ANTI-BACTERIA ACTIVITIES

PURPOSE: Provided is a composition which comprises Ganoderma sinense water-soluble extract having anti-oxidation activity particularly to 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical and hydrogen peroxide protection activity, as well as antibacterial activity. CONSTITUTION: The composition characteristically comprises Ganoderma sinense water-soluble extract which is obtained by the steps of: extracting Ganoderma sinense with 70% ethyl alcohol; concentrating the extract at 50 deg.C then adding purified water thereto to separate a first water soluble extract and a water insoluble extract; adding petroleum, chloroform, ethylacetate and butanol sequentially to the water soluble extract at room temperature to obtain their fractions; adding an extraction solvent to the fractions to obtain a second water soluble extract; and pressure-concentrating and drying each supernatant .
