<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extendable coupling device for a belt by which the length of the belt can be easily adjusted according to the wearer's size or for his or her convenience, and the belt can be firmly fastened after the adjustment. SOLUTION: A main belt 1 and a sub belt 2, both having their ends to be engaged, are connected via a coupling member 3 in between. The end of the main belt 1 is put through a first engagement hole 4 in one end of the coupling member 3 and fixed, whereas the end of the sub belt 2 is put through a second engagement hole 5 in the other end of the coupling member 3 and fixed. In the middle of the coupling member 3, a shaft 6 is supported on both sides of the coupling member 3, and an engagement member 7 is placed, being allowed to rotate thereabout.</p> |
