PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing item control device of a sewing machine capable of preventing stitches of cloth hems from dislocating, or wrinkles, etc., caused by sewing from occurring when two cloth hems such as bodies of a garment, etc., are sewed together by drawing near or stretching the cloth hems while sewing. SOLUTION: The sewing machine has a presser foot which presses the sewing item placed on an upper face of a needle plate from upward, and a fabric feeding teeth which moves in four movements interlocked with a main shaft and feeding the sewing item in cooperation with the presser foot. A guiding groove is formed on a lower face of the presser foot, which is symmetrical with respect to a line through a center part of a needle location point of the sewing machine so as to gradually approach or separate to or from a forward direction of fabric feeding. A ring-like band is loosely fitted to the guiding groove so as to rotate by following the fabric fed in a fabric feeding direction.
