PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrub brush capable of cleaning even a detail thoroughly without damaging the surface to be cleaned and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this scrub brush 1 having a brush body 11 and a handle 12 attached to the base end side 11b of the brush body 11, the brush body 11 is comprised of a rod-shaped brush base material 30 where a large number of strips 22 of a composite sheet made of a sponge sheet and a reinforcing cloth sheet are fixed between a pair of two twisted wires 21. The tip side 11a of the brush body 11 is more thickly provided with these strips 22.
