PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removing means capable of easily scraping off a foreign matter in a tubular organ such as blood vessel and further removing a foreign matter in a cerebral blood vessel. SOLUTION: This shaft with brush for foreign matter removal in tubular organ is provided with one or more recovery brushes protruded outward from the circumferential surface of the tip part of a flexible shaft, which are provided at axially small intervals on the circumferential surface. The recovery brush comprises one blade of a disk-like elastic material or two or more blades of elastic materials protruded radially from the circumferential surface of the shaft.
