The invention relates to secured dynamic bandwidth allocation in a multichannel transmission system such as a time- or frequency- multiplexed system, especially a SDSL transmission system (Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line) wherein digital information is transmitted in frames. For that purpose, the complete information for band allocation is transmitted in a secured way inside each frame. Moreover, it is possible to determine in an unambiguous way, for each frame, which is the channel allocated to a particular service. In the case where the channel allocation is modified, the relevant information is available early enough on the receiver side, so that the modified channel allocation can be taken into account as soon as the next frame is received. |
