LIGHT STABILIZER PACKAGES FOR PARTIAL PAINT APPLICATIONS

A thermoplastic olefin containing a light stabilizer package is disclosed. T he light stabilizer package comprises a monomeric HALS having a pKa of no greater than 7, an ultraviolet light absorber and a polym eric HALS having a pKa of less than 7. The light stabili zer package is blended with the thermoplastic olefin to form a moldable light st able compositions. Articles made of the moldable light s table composition may have an exterior surface that is at least partially coated w ith acid curative paint systems without interference fro m the light stabilizer package.
