PURPOSE: A method for subscription between a terminal and a base station in a telecommunication system is provided to use a call control entity for transmitting and receiving appropriate information between the terminal and the base station with a view to the subscription, without the use of a management mobility procedure provided by a DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication) standard. CONSTITUTION: A DECT phone terminal(PT) is authorized to be registered in a DECT base station(FT). A channel which belongs to an authorized FT is searched. A message including an identifier of the PT is sent to the selected FT. Messages including predefined coded information is sent. A message, including subscription acceptance information for informing the PT that the subscription is authorized, is received. An identifier corresponding to the identity of the FT is stored. The PT is reinitialized.
