PURPOSE: A method and a system for generating mesh for numerical analysis for a liquid crystal display device are provided to define a 3D structure of the LCD for the numerical analysis, thereby achieving the numerical analysis for liquid crystal molecular behaviors and light transmission characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A system for generating mesh for numerical analysis for a liquid crystal display device includes a mask layout composition module(720) for composing a mask layout for defining structure of the LCD device, a module(730) for defining a stacking structure of material areas of the device by using a mask layout, and a module(740) for producing tetra meshes for the stacking structure.
