PURPOSE: An interlock control circuit is provided to achieve improved user convenience by permitting the gas range and ventilation fan to automatically operate. CONSTITUTION: An interlock control circuit comprises an ignition/flame control switch(14) mounted on a gas range(1), which has a plurality of connection terminals(a to e) for dividing the intensity of the flame of the gas range into plural intensity levels and selectively connects to the connection terminals in accordance with the user's action for rotating an ignition/flame control handle; a resistor group(15) mounted on the gas range and constituted by a plurality of resistors(R1 to R3) connected to each of connection terminals of the ignition/flame control switch, wherein each of resistors has different resistance values; an infrared emitting element(11) mounted on the gas range and connected to the resistor group, wherein the infrared emitting element receives a voltage applied from an external source and divided by each of resistors and outputs an infrared signal; an infrared receiving element(12) mounted on a ventilation fan(6), which receives an optical signal output from the infrared emitting element and switches in such a manner that the main voltage is supplied to a rotating blade drive motor(7); and an automatic/manual switch(16) mounted on the ventilation fan, which permits the main voltage terminal to be connected to the infrared receiving element in the automatic mode and permits the main voltage terminal to be directly connected to the rotating blade drive motor in the manual mode.
