PURPOSE: A trigger type writing instrument is provided which enables writing by inserting the writing instrument into a forefinger so that the forefinger holds the writing instrument. CONSTITUTION: In a writing instrument having a finger writing instrument which is inserted into fingers for writing and a rectangular parallelopiped shaped body, the trigger type writing instrument into the inner space of which a pen core is received so that a pen point is exposed to, or appeared to or disappeared from the end part of one side of the writing instrument comprises a writing instrument part(100) comprising a sheet type body which is formed of a thin sheet, and thickness of which has the minimum height so that the pen core is received into the sheet type body; and a finger inserting part(200) comprising a means into which the middle finger or forefinger is inserted, or which is held by the middle finger or forefinger, wherein the finger inserting part(200) is adjacently coupled to the end part of one side surface of the writing instrument part(100), and the finger inserting part(200) is fixed to the writing instrument part(100) in such a way that the finger inserting part(200) is neither rotationally coupled nor moved on one side surface of the writing instrument part(100) that is a sheet surface.
