PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing an electro clutch assembly for a vehicle is provided to secure an electro clutch assembly excellent in solidity and durability. CONSTITUTION: In method of manufacturing an electro clutch assembly for a vehicle, metallic material is formed into a rotor(110) through a forging process and the outer bore is formed by cutting an outer groove in which a yoke(102) is inserted. An inner groove portion, in which a boss(130), and a bearing(170) are installed, is formed in the middle part of the rotor. A slot groove(114) is formed on the opposite side of the outer groove portion. A belt groove(112), around which a compressor belt is wound, is formed on the outer side of the rotor. Slot holes(115) connected to the outer groove portion are each formed to the upper and lower sides of the slot groove. The frictional surface of the rotor is tapered and the inner bore is formed to the inner groove portion by cutting the position in which a bearing is installed. The rotor is plated and plating of the frictional surface is removed by hand. The bearing is installed to the inner groove portion by heating and a boss(130) is installed inside the bearing by heating. An armature(120) is installed on the whole surface of the rotor by fixing a leaf spring(140) to the boss with using a boss-fixing bolt. Plural removing processes are performed for rise of initial torque of the parts fixed to the rotor and then the yoke equipped with a coil(104) is installed to the outer groove portion of the rotor.
