PURPOSE: A credit card payment system is provided to make a mobile communication device request a credit card transaction, receive a transaction approval, and process the credit card payment by using an embedded voice recognition function. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a mobile terminal with a voice recognition device. The voice recognition device includes a voice recognition interface(310), a low pass filter(320), a voice data comparator(330), a voice data storage(340), and a character generator(350). The mobile terminal embeds the credit card data, and enables a user to input transaction specifications with a voice by using the voice recognition device. The voice data is transmitted to the low pass filter(320) via the voice recognition interface(310) for filtering noises or regenerating distorted signals, and then being transmitted to the voice data comparator(330). The input data is compared with the voice data stored at the voice data storage(340) by extracting the features of vowels or their similar vocal sounds with a formant extractor and a fitch extractor included in the voice data comparator(330). If the input voice data is the same as the stored one, the input data is transmitted to the character generator, being converted into corresponding characters, and being displayed on a screen(370) of the mobile terminal.
