FIELD: medicine, traumatology, resuscitation. SUBSTANCE: exchange plasmapheresis is carried out in two stages: during the first and second stages one should sample blood at 800-900 ml quantity, divide it for plasma and cellular elements, remove plasma at 400-500 ml quantity and reinfuse cellular mass, moreover, during the first stage it is necessary to inject physiological solution and rheopolyglucin intravenously simultaneously with blood sampling at quantity being equal to that of sampled blood, and at the end of the second stage - donor plasma and 10-% albumin at the volume of removed plasma.
