METHOD FOR SELECTING MERIDIANS FOR APPLYING ELECTROACUPUNCTURE REFLEXOTHERAPY

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying electroacupuncture examination after Nakatani. Meridians outside of norm corridor observed in two or more diagnostic tests are determined on the basis of three diagnostic tests separately for the right and left side that do not change their state for the opposite on no one of them. Nakatani examination method is applied before each treatment session. Meridians of insufficiency are determined. Other meridians state changes are calculated for every meridian of this kind according to Wu-xing system. Meridians found outside the norm corridor before the treatment are taken into account with their initial states recorded at the beginning of the treatment but not the current ones. Insufficiency meridian excitement causing negative influence upon at least one of other meridians, tonic stimulation of such meridian is not to be applied.
